Well, if you recall, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ have the model numbers SM-G950x & SM-955x. Now, if we think of the Samsung SM-G9650, it is probably the model number of Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus to be accurate. But then again, the phones will launch after eight months, so there is still a lot of time for the company to even start testing the phones. We all know that the successor of Snapdragon 835 is going to be the Snapdragon 845 as the company accidentally mentioned it on its official website. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will undoubtedly feature this chip and same has been revealed today via Geekbench.

As per Geekbench listing, the SM-G9650 features Snapdragon 845 and 4 Gigs of RAM. Also, Android 7.1.2 runs out of the box. No need to worry about Android O as if it is indeed the S9, then it is in testing right now and running on the latest version of Nougat.

We cannot say anything about the authenticity of this leak so better take it with a pinch of salt. There are chances that someone just edited the build.prop file. What are your views? Do let us know via the comments section.
