Samsung’s Unpacked event is happening on July 10, where the company is launching its foldable phones of 2024, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Z Flip 6. Back in June, we got our official first look at the design of both phones, and later we got the US pricing. Now, the major specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 have leaked online, shared by Ishan Agarwal on Twitter.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch 120Hz Full-HD+ AMOLED display on the inside, which sounds like the same panel as last year. The chipset is upgraded to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and there is 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. One of the biggest upgrades is in the battery department, as the phone features a big 4,000mAh battery, compared to a 3,700mAh battery in the Z Flip 5. The source also claims 35W fast wired charging, which is not 100% confirmed as of now.
The camera setup is also upgraded. Instead of a 12MP + 12MP dual camera setup on the outside, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide. The selfie camera on the inside has a 10MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens.
Finally, the dimensions are 165×71.7×7.4mm, meaning the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is thicker than the predecessor.
