The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch in January next year, and while we still have almost four months left for the official launch, the renders of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra have revealed the design.
These renders were shared by OnLeaks in collaboration with Android Headlines.
As shown in the renders, the biggest design change is that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a completely flat frame. This makes it the first phone under the “Ultra” series to feature a flat-frame design. If we talk about the Galaxy S24 Ultra, that phone has rounded sides, and only the top and bottom are flat. But, that’s not the case with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This also means the Galaxy S25 Ultra is going to be more comfortable to hold than its predecessor.
On the front, the phone has a flat display with slim and symmetrical bezels. It is reported that the bezels are slimmer than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The camera module design is almost the same, except for the rings around the camera lenses. As per Ice Universe, this may not be the final design of the camera module, as the camera module design shown in the renders is based on pure speculation.
The dimensions of the phone are 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm, meaning it is the slimmest phone under the “Ultra” series. For comparison, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is 8.6mm thick. The weight is also reduced, so the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra weighs 219g, versus the 233g Galaxy S24 Ultra.
As for the specifications, we know that the ultrawide camera on the rear is getting an upgrade, so the Galaxy S25 Ultra uses a 50MP JN3 sensor for the ultrawide camera with an f/1.9 lens, versus a 12MP ultrawide on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The rest of the camera sensors remain the same.
Finally, the entire Galaxy S25 lineup is reported to have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SOC in all the markets.
