Samsung Galaxy S24 – Here’s our first look at the design

Almost the same design as the Galaxy S23!

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is reportedly launching in January next year instead of the usual launch in February. Today, we got our first look at the Galaxy S25, courtesy of Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks. The renders were shared in collaboration with SmartPrix. The renders reveal a familiar design language, but there is one noticeable design upgrade.

As you can see, the Galaxy S24 looks almost identical to the Galaxy S23. The LED flash is placed slightly lower than where it was on the Galaxy S23, but apart from this small change, there is no change in the rear and the front design.

The phone still has a vertically placed triple camera setup with no camera island, a flat panel with uniform bezels, a hole punch cutout in the center, and the power button + volume rockers on the right.

The frame is getting a significant design change this time. So far, all the Galaxy S series devices have had a rounded frame, but the Galaxy S24 is getting a flat frame design. This design change will get mixed opinions because not everyone likes the flat frame design.

The dimensions are approximately 147 x 70.5 x 7.6 mm, meaning the Galaxy S24, with the same thickness, is taller (146.3mm vs. 147mm) and narrower (70.9 vs. 70.5) than the Galaxy S23.

The specifications are not yet confirmed, but as per rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S24 has a Full-HD+ display, a 4,000mAh battery, 25W fast charging, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 / Exynos 2400, and a 50MP + 12MP + 10MP triple rear camera setup.
