UPDATE – HERE IS THE UPDATED RENDER OF THE PHONE BY ONLEAKS THAT SHOWS AN EXTRA CAMERA SENSOR ON THE REAR
OnLeaks shared the updated CAD render of the S21 Ultra that shows an extra camera sensor on the rear. This is the design of the DVT Stage Prototype. DVT stands for Design Validation Test that is one of the final steps before mass production.
Recently, the CAD-based renders of the next year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 (or S30) were shared by OnLeaks & they showed a pretty unique-looking camera setup design on the back. Well today, OnLeaks shared the CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (or the S30 Ultra) which, just like this year, is going to be the most high-end phone under the S21 (or the S30) series next year.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra of this year features a huge camera bump on the rear & the camera module included four cameras in it, including the incredible 100X Zoom Periscope camera. The Galaxy S21 Ultra has the same number of cameras on the back & this time, the camera module is even bigger.
For comparison, the camera bump of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is almost twice the size of the camera bump of Galaxy S21!
While the Galaxy S21 has a flat Infinity-O display on the front, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a display with slightly curved sides.
Without the camera bump, the S21 Ultra is 8.9mm thick, but including the camera bump, the thickness is 10.8mm. So this clearly shows how big the camera bump really is!
OnLeaks said that while there are rumours of the S21 Ultra coming with an S-Pen, there is no dedicated slot for the S-Pen as we see on the Galaxy Note series phones. But still, the phone might support an S-Pen in the software.
The display on the S21 Ultra is between 6.7-6.9-inches, so the size doesn’t exceed that of the S20 Ultra’s display panel (6.9″).
Well, we don’t have any information regarding the specifications so nothing can be said yet.
