In September last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE with specifications such as Snapdragon 865, a 120Hz AMOLED, Triple cameras with two having OIS, 4,500mAh battery, 25W fast charging, and more for $699. In India, the company launched the 4G variant only, which had the Exynos 990 but later this year, Samsung launched the Snapdragon 865-powered variant in India for Rs 55,999. Now, the company is preparing to unveil the successor soon, i.e., the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The renders of the phone are now here, which were shared by Evan Blass, and they show the device in various color shades.
As you can see, the Galaxy S21 FE has at least four color options – Black, Olive Green, Lilac, and White. Design-wise, it takes design notes from the Galaxy S21 as it has a similar-looking triple camera setup on the rear and a flat display on the front with a single hole punch in the middle.
So far, there is no news on when the Galaxy S21 FE is launching, but there are already leaks and rumors regarding the specifications. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE might launch with a 120Hz Super AMOLED panel, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SOC, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. It is expected that the camera setup might remain the same as last year’s model, which means a 12 Megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 12 Megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 12 Megapixel telephoto lens. The battery size is also expected to be the same as last year, i.e., 4,500mAh.
Well, Samsung did manage to sell an impressive number of S20 FE units, so the company knows that consumers love phones that are priced lower than the normal flagships but offer high-end features. Let’s hope Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be a great follow-up to the last year’s successful device.
