Recently, the expected pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series for the European market was revealed by a trusted source. Today, a huge leak revealed the official renders of all the phones under the S20 series, i.e., the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus & S20 Ultra. Along with this, we got to know the final pricing for all the phones in Europe, which is similar to what the previous information revealed.
Well, we got all those CAD renders & renders by artists that revealed the design of Galaxy S20 Ultra, but today, we finally got a chance to confirm the leaked design, thanks to these official renders. So yes, there is a huge camera bump on the rear, but frankly, the design isn’t that bad. The camera setup on the back has a two-tone design that separates the periscope-style zoom lens from other sensors.
There are four cameras in total on the rear & we can also see the “Space Zoom” & “100X” branding that confirms the existence of up to 100X Digital Zoom & a feature similar to “Astrophotography Mode” by Google.
On the front, there is an Infinity-O display with punch-hole for the single selfie camera placed in the middle on top like the Note 10 series of last year. As per the source, there is 2.5D curved glass design unlike the 3D glass on previous Samsung flagships.
As far as the specs are concerned, we know that there is a 6.9-inch Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rate & WQHD+ resolution, Exynos 990 / Snapdragon 865 SOC, 12/16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.0 storage, a 5,000mAH battery & Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 on top.
There is a Quad camera setup on the back that includes a primary 108MP camera with support for 8K 30fps video recording, a secondary 48 Megapixel periscope-style zoom lens with 10X Optical Zoom & 100X Digital Zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens & a fourth ToF sensor. The camera on the front is a 40 Megapixel sensor with support for 4K 60fps video recording.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S20 PLUS
Coming to the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus now, it has a similar design with an Infinity-O display on the front & a rectangular camera module on the back. The design of the camera setup on the rear is similar to Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy ‘M’ and ‘A’ series phones. There are Quad cameras on the S20 Plus as well, but there is no periscope-style zoom lens.
Coming to its specs, there is a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED WQHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, Exynos 990/ Snapdragon 865 SOC, 128GB storage, 4,500mAh battery, 10MP selfie camera with 4K 60fps video recording & Quad cameras that include a primary 12MP IMX555 sensor with 1.8-micron pixels, a secondary 64 Megapixel telephoto lens with 3X Optical Zoom + 30X Digital Zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens & a fourth ToF sensor.
SAMSUNG GALAXY S20
Finally, we have the cheapest of the three under the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, the Galaxy S20. It is exactly the same in terms of the design as the Galaxy S20 Plus with the only major difference apart from the size being the camera setup on the rear that has three cameras instead of four.
There is a 6.2-inch WQHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Exynos 990 / Snapdragon 865 SOC, 128GB storage, 10MP selfie camera with 4K 60fps video recording and a 4,000mAh battery with Fast Charging.
On the rear, there is a triple camera setup that includes a primary 12MP IMX555 sensor with 1.8-micron pixel size, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens & a 64 Megapixel telephoto lens with 3X Optical Zoom. There is support for 8K 30fps video recording as well (via telephoto lens).
It has an IP68 rating, just like the other two.
