Samsung Galaxy M55 price in India leaked ahead of the launch

That's a pretty good price!

The Samsung Galaxy M55 was launched in Brazil today at 2,999 Brazilian Real, or around $600 / ₹50,000. As we know already, the phone is launching in the Indian market soon, and now, the Indian pricing has leaked online, courtesy of Sudhanshu Ambhore. The pricing seems pretty good, especially considering the prices of the recently launched mid-range phones by Samsung.

As per the source, the Galaxy M55 is launching in India in three variants – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. Here are the prices –

  • 8GB+128GB: ₹26,999
  • 8GB+256GB: ₹29,999
  • 12GB+256GB: ₹32,999

Well, the pricing is not bad, considering the Galaxy A35 and A55 were recently launched in India at ₹30,999 and ₹39,999, respectively.

The Galaxy M55 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SOC. This SOC is built on Samsung’s 4nm process and has an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.4GHz. The phone has a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED Plus display with a Full-HD+ resolution and a 1000 nits peak brightness. The fingerprint sensor sits under the display. The battery is 5,000mAh, and there is 45W fast charging support.

The phone has a triple camera setup on the rear – a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro. For selfies, it uses a 50MP sensor.

The phone runs on Android 14 and will get four Android OS updates. Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, expandable storage, Knox Security, Voice Focus, and more.
