Samsung Galaxy M40 launching on June 11th in India

Samsung is all set to launch another M series phone in India after a massive success of its previous three M series phones, the Galaxy M10, M20 & M30. The Samsung Galaxy M40 is launching on June 11th in India, i.e., after a couple of weeks. Samsung revealed a few details of the phone along with the official renders on its website, so let’s talk about what we know so far about the upcoming Galaxy M40.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 is the first “M” series phone from the brand that has a hole-punch display or an Infinity-O display. This is something we previously saw on the premium mid-range & flagship Samsung phones like the Galaxy S10 series. The Infinity-O screen means there is no notch & in the press renders, the phone does look beautiful from the front.

On the rear, there is a triple camera setup placed vertically like on the Galaxy M30. The fingerprint scanner is also there on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 is also the first phone to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of Samsung Exynos. There is Snapdragon 675 processor & 6GB RAM along with 128GB ROM. The phone has an AMOLED Full-HD+ display like the M30.

The price is expected to remain around Rs 20,000 in India & it is going to be an Amazon exclusive smartphone. What do you think of the design? Do let us know via the comments section below.
