UPDATE – The Launch date of Galaxy M31s is now here & the phone is launching on July 30th in India.
In February this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy M31 as the successor to the last year’s Galaxy M30. Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy M30s in the second half of the year & similarly, we are getting the Samsung Galaxy M31s soon. In fact, a report by 91Mobiles reveals that the Galaxy M31s is going on sale on August 6th in India.
The phone will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
One of the biggest design change is going to be on the front where there is no longer a U-shaped notch that we saw on the Galaxy M30, M30s, and the M31. In fact, there is now a punch-hole cutout placed in the middle for the single selfie shooter.
Also, on the back, there are Quad cameras placed inside the rectangular camera module in an “L” design. Now, we don’t see the fingerprint scanner on the rear in the leaked images, but since there is no power button visible on the side, it is safe to assume that there is a side-facing fingerprint scanner that also doubles as a power button.
The rumoured specs of the Samsung Galaxy M31s include the Exynos 9611 SOC (the same chip powers the M31 & M30s), 6GB RAM, 64MP camera on the back, 15W Charging & probably the same 6,000mAh battery (or even higher!).
The price is expected to be around Rs 20,000 in India.
