In September last year, Samsung Galaxy M30s launched in the Indian market with one of the biggest batteries ever on any phone. It had a massive 6,000mAh battery, which was the main USP of this phone. Also, Samsung launched it at pretty compelling pricing & so it was a huge success. The company wants to continue this as the Samsung Galaxy M31 is launching soon in the Indian market.
The teaser was posted by popular YouTuber Technical Guruji on Twitter & while it doesn’t show how the phone looks like, it does hint at the same 6,000mAh battery, thanks to the #MegaMonster hashtag. In fact, a lot of leaks have already revealed that the Galaxy M31 has a 6,000mAh battery inside.
Last year, we got to know via a Geekbench listing that the SOC powering the M31 is Exynos 9611. This means the battery size, as well as the SOC, remains the same as the Galaxy M30s. So, what’s changed?
Well, as per a report by 91Mobiles, there is a Quad camera setup this time instead of a triple camera setup on the M30s. The Samsung Galaxy M31 will reportedly feature a dedicated macro lens as the fourth sensor alongside the primary, the ultra-wide & the depth sensor.
We may also get a punch-hole design instead of a display with a notch like the M30s. Well, we will have to wait to get more details regarding the Samsung Galaxy M31, so stay tuned for that.
