Samsung Galaxy F62 is an upcoming mid-range device from the brand that the company will be launching in India on the 15th of February and today, GadgetsData shared the price details on Twitter. We already know the major specs of this phone since Samsung itself has revealed them. In case you don’t know, this phone has the 7nm Exynos 9825 SOC, a massive 7,000mAh battery, a Super AMOLED panel, and more.
According to GadgetsData, the box price of the 8GB + 128GB variant of the Galaxy F62 is Rs 31,990 but the expected launch price is around Rs 27,999-28,999. Now, there is also a 6GB + 128GB variant of the phone so the expected launch price of this variant is Rs 24,999-25,999. The Exynos 9825 is a 4G chipset so it is a shame that while every brand in this price range is launching 5G phones, the upcoming Galaxy F62 doesn’t support 5G.
Speaking of rest of the features of the phone, there is a 64 Megapixel primary rear camera and rumours indicate a 12 Megapixel ultrawide, a 5 Megapixel macro and a 5 Megapixel depth sensor. Samsung says tha Exynos 9825 is one of the best performing SOCs in this price segment and scores over 452,000 on AnTuTu benchmark. If you don’t know, the Exynos 9825 was unveiled in 2019 has a minor upgrade over the Exynos 9820, Samsung’s flagship Exynos chip that powered the S10 lineup. So you can consider the Exynos 9825 to be somewhat similar to the Snapdragon 855 in terms of the performance.
