Samsung Galaxy F41 is the first phone from the brand under the Galaxy “F” series & it launched in the Indian market today for a starting price of Rs 16,999, but you can buy it for Rs 15,499 in the upcoming Big Billion Day sale on Flipkart.
Now, even though it carries a different name & comes under a different series, it is just the Samsung Galaxy M31 but with three rear cameras instead of four & a 32MP selfie camera instead of a 16MP camera. Everything else is the same, from the display to the battery size, charging speed, & the SOC.
SAMSUNG GALAXY M41 – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
The only difference in terms of the design when we compare the Galaxy F41 with the Galaxy M31 is that there is one less camera on the rear on the F41. Rest of the design is the same, from the rear-facing fingerprint scanner to the Infinity-U display on the front. The 3.5mm headphone jack is placed alongside the USB Type-C port on the bottom. There is a Polycarbonate build.
The Samsung Galaxy F41 is 8.9mm thick & weighs 191 grams. That is the same thickness & weight as that of the Galaxy M31.
The triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 64 Megapixel camera & since Samsung doesn’t mention what sensor is there, it is most likely the Samsung GW1 instead of IMX682, just as on the Galaxy M31. The secondary camera is an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with 123-degree FOV & finally, there is a 5 Megapixel depth sensor.
So, the company removed the 5 Megapixel Macro camera which we see on the Galaxy M31 but kept the Depth sensor. In our opinion, Samsung should’ve done the opposite.
On the front, the Galaxy F41 has a 32 Megapixel selfie camera as compared to the 16MP shooter on the M31.
That’s all about the differences between F41 & M31. Now coming to rest of the specs, the Samsung Galaxy F41 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full-HD+ resolution, Exynos 9611 SOC, 6GB RAM, 64/128GB Storage, Triple Card Slot, a 6,000mAh battery & 15W Fast Charging support. Android 10 based OneUI Core 2.1 runs out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy F41 comes in three colours named Fusion Blue, Fusion Black & Fusion Green. Here is the pricing for India –
- 6GB + 64GB – Rs 16,999
- 6GB + 128GB – Rs 17,999
In the Big Billion Day sale on Flipkart, there is a flat Rs 1,500 discount so you can buy the base variant at Rs 15,499 & the 128GB variant at Rs 16,499.
