Samsung has launched a new budget 5G phone in India named the Galaxy F34. It is the same phone as the Galaxy M34, launched in India last month. The price starts at ₹18,999, meaning the F34 is ₹1000 cheaper than the M34. Also, while the Galaxy M34 is officially available on Amazon, the Galaxy F34 will be available on Flipkart.
Design-wise, the Galaxy F34 looks identical to the M34 except for the color options. The phone comes in Electric Black & Mystic Green color options, and both are unavailable for the Galaxy M34. There is a triple camera setup on the rear, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a waterdrop notch design on the front with a noticeable bottom chin, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single bottom-firing speaker.
Under the hood, the phone has the Exynos 1280 SOC, a 5nm chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The battery size is 6,000mAh, and the phone supports 25W fast charging. The adapter is not provided in the box.
The display is a 6.5-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED with a Full-HD+ resolution. The waterdrop notch has a 13MP selfie camera. The triple camera setup on the rear includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera.
Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box, and Samsung promises four Android OS updates. Other notable features are Samsung KNOX security, Samsung Wallet, Voice Focus, Dolby Atmos, 11 5G bands, etc.
Here is the pricing for the Indian market –
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹18,999
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹20,999
The sale starts on August 12. You can buy the phone online from Samsung’s website or Flipkart.
