Samsung Galaxy A90 5G retail box leaks, key specs confirmed

Yesterday, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G showed up on the official site, which revealed the design of Samsung’s upcoming 5G device. Today, the images of the retail box of the phone leaked, that confirmed the specifications & the design of the phone. As we said in our previous post about the phone, it is most likely going to be the cheapest 5G phone from Samsung.

As we can see, the Galaxy A90 5G features an Infinity-U display on the front which means there is a U-shaped notch on the front. So, we are not getting any sliding or rotating mechanism like on the Galaxy A80. Maybe Samsung went for this normal design for keeping the cost as low as possible for this 5G device.

On the rear, there are triple cameras placed vertically & there is no fingerprint scanner on the back or the side which means it is there under the display on the front.

Coming to the specifications, the retail box reveals that Samsung Galaxy A90 5G features a Full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display which, as per previous leaks, has a size of 6.7-inch. The phone supports 5G & it is pretty obvious if we look at the name. On the rear, there are triple cameras. The Galaxy A90 5G features 48 Megapixel primary camera, an 8MP secondary camera & a third 5MP camera. On the front, there is a 32MP camera placed in that notch.

While the SOC is not mentioned, we do know that the phone features Snapdragon 855 SOC. There is at least 6GB RAM & 128GB ROM. The phone supports 25W Super Fast Charging as well.

The launch might happen in September, but the exact launch date is unknown as of now.
