Earlier this year, in March, we got the Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphone which launched with Snapdragon 720G, 25W charging, and a 90Hz AMOLED. Samsung is all set to launch its successor soon, the Galaxy A73. Ahead of the official launch, we now have got to renders of this phone that were shared by OnLeaks in collaboration with Zouton. The Samsung Galaxy A73 has a similar design as the predecessor, so only the internals are different this time.
Design-wise, the phone gets a flat display with a hole punch cutout in the middle & a Quad-camera setup on the back placed in a rectangular camera housing. The fingerprint scanner sits under the display & unlike the Galaxy A72, this phone lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. So the removal of the headphone jack is a big difference in the design.
The dimensions of this phone are 163.8 x 76.0 x 7.6mm & when the camera module is also included, the thickness becomes 9.3mm.
The panel on the front is almost 6.7-inches, so that’s the same display size as on the Galaxy A72. We are also not expecting a huge change in the display specs, except for, of course, an upgrade in the refresh rate from 90Hz to 120Hz.
While we are yet to know the confirmed specifications, there are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy A73 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. That does not sound very interesting since the Galaxy A52s has a much better Snapdragon 778G SOC. It is said that the main highlight of this phone is going to be its primary camera on the rear since that packs a 108MP sensor in it.
Well, apart from the design, we don’t yet know much about this phone so stay tuned.
