Samsung Galaxy A72 4G official renders are now here

We now also know the specifications and the pricing

Samsung Galaxy A72 5G is a phone that is in the news for quite some time now as we know the design of it since December last year when the renders were shared by OnLeaks. But along with this phone, the company is also launching the A72 4G. As the name suggests, Samsung Galaxy A72 4G is a variant of Galaxy A72 without 5G support which is quite surprising because these days, we are getting more and more 5G phones from brands and companies are trying to offer 5G devices for an as low a price as possible.

Anyways, we now have the official renders of the Galaxy A72 4G and these were shared by WinFuture. Along with the renders, we also got to know the specifications and also the European pricing of the phone.

Design-wise, it looks like just another Samsung phone as it has an Infinity-O display with a centered hole-punch cutout and a rectangular camera module on the rear with four cameras and the LED flash in it. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack along with the Type-C port. The phone has a plastic back but that’s not something new as almost every budget and mid-range phone from Samsung comes with a glossy plastic back.

The display on the front is a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with a Full-HD+ resolution 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, Galaxy A72 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SOC that is paired with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and runs on Android 11 based OneUI. The Quad camera setup on the rear includes a primary 64 Megapixel shooter paired with a 12 Megapixel ultrawide camera, an 8 Megapixel 2X Telephoto Lens, and finally a 2 Megapixel camera for macro photos. There are some doubts regarding the camera specs so it is not 100% confirmed whether the phone has a telephoto lens or not.

Finally, there is a 32 Megapixel selfie shooter and the device is IP67 rated.

WinFuture revealed that the price is going to start at 449 Euro in Europe which translates to around $545.
