The Samsung Galaxy A52s is coming to the Indian market soon, and while it was just a rumor by now, Samsung has now officially confirmed the same. Samsung has now started teasing the launch in India, and there is now a dedicated page on Samsung’s website where you can sign up to get notified about this phone. As we know already, the Galaxy M52 5G is also launching in India soon, and it won’t be much different from the Galaxy A52s.
According to a user on Twitter (@yabhishekhd), the launch in India will take place on the 3rd of September. This means we still have a week left for the unveiling. The user also shared the pricing!
Speaking of the phone, the Galaxy A52s 5G has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SOC, the same chipset that powers phones such as the Realme GT Master Edition & the Motorola Edge 20 in India. Both these phones start at above Rs 25,000, so it is no surprise that Samsung will price the A52s above Rs 30,000 as the company has never been more aggressive in terms of pricing than the likes of Realme in India.
There is a 6.5-inch display on the front, and it is a Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of brightness. There is a hole punch in the middle that houses the 32 Megapixel selfie shooter in it. In terms of the back cameras, there is a Quad camera array that includes the primary 64 Megapixel shooter, a 12 Megapixel ultrawide, a 5 Megpaixel macro, and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. There is also OIS for the primary camera.
Finally, Samsung Galaxy A52s has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. The phone has a headphone jack, and it is placed on the bottom alongside the Type-C port. Another thing worth mentioning is that the Galaxy A52s 5G is IP67 water and dust-resistant. There are stereo speakers as well.
It is said that the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will be priced in India at ₹35,999, whereas the 8GB RAM variant will be priced at ₹37,499.
