Redmi K30 is launching on December 10 in China & we have already seen quite a lot of leaks related to the device. A few hands-on images of the phone leaked a few days back that revealed things like 120Hz display, Adreno 618 GPU etc. Today, some rumoured specifications of the Redmi K30 4G (not the 5G version) were shared by a Twitter user & looking at those specs, it could be a great mid-range phone from the brand.
According to these rumoured specifications, the K30 4G has a 6.6-inch LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate & Full-HD+ resolution. There is a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The phone has dual selfie cameras placed in the pill-shaped cutout on the top right. There is a primary 32MP selfie camera & a secondary 3D TOF sensor for 3D Face Recognition.
On the rear, the Redmi K30 4G has Quad cameras that include a primary 60 Megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, a secondary 8 Megapixel telephoto lens, a 13 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera & a 2MP Macro lens. There is a massive 5,000mAh battery & 27W Fast Charging. Android 10 runs out of the box with MIUI 11 on top & there is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The phone has an IR Blaster as well as NFC.
So, looking at these specifications, the Redmi K30 4G seems like a good upgrade over the Redmi K20 since there is a better SOC, a high-refresh-rate display, better camera setup, bigger battery & maybe a better design since most users don’t prefer moving parts in a phone (like a pop-up camera).
