Recently, Redmi launched its Note 13 series in China, which includes the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro & Note 13 Pro+. Alongside these phones, the brand launched its latest Android tablet, the Redmi Pad SE. This tablet starts at ¥899 (~$120), and it has an impressive spec sheet for this dirt-cheap price.
Starting with the design, the Redmi Pad SE comes with a unibody metal build. The thickness is 7.36mm, and the tablet weighs 478g. There are four speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and the tablet does not skip the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The display is an 11-inch IPS LCD with 1920 × 1200 pixels resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rate. The panel has 400 nits brightness.
Redmi Pad SE is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SOC, built on the TSMC’s 6nm process. There is 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB eMMC 5.1. The battery size is 8,000mAh, and there is 18W fast charging support. In the box, however, Redmi offers a slow 10W adapter.
The single rear camera has an 8MP sensor, whereas the selfie camera has a 5MP sensor. Finally, MIUI 14 for Pad runs out of the box, based on Android 13.
Redmi Pad SE comes in three colors, and here is the pricing for the Chinese market –
