The Redmi Note 8 series was first launched in China in August & this month, the company launched both the devices in India. Now lately, we are getting a lot of rumors related to the Redmi Note 8T & there were even some sources claiming that it is a different phone with a different SOC. But, as we got to know via the real-life images of it, the Note 8T is basically the Redmi Note 8 but with NFC support.
The Note 8T is the Redmi Note 8 for the European market & hence, it comes with NFC support, something that’s missing in the Indian version. The rest of the specs are the same, i.e., a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SOC, Quad cameras on the rear (48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP), a 4,000mAh battery with 18W Fast Charging, etc.
The image above shows how the retail box of the Note 8T looks like & what do you get in the box.
The phone will have at least three storage options – 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB & 4GB + 128GB. The color options include Moonlight White, Starscape Blue & Moonshadow Gray. When it comes to the pricing, the source claims that the 4GB + 64GB variant will be priced at €199 or $220.
As of now, we don’t know when Redmi would launch the Note 8T in Europe.
