The Redmi Note 13 series was launched in India in January this year, featuring three smartphones – Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro & Note 13 Pro+. In September, we got the Redmi Note 14 series in the Chinese market, and two months after its launch in China, the series is now official in India. Xiaomi has brought all three phones to the Indian market – Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+.
REDMI NOTE 14
Like its predecessor, the Redmi Note 14 has a boxy design with a flat frame and a flat display. The camera module design has changed from its predecessor. The phone is IP64-certified and has a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. The phone is quite slim at 7.99mm, although not as slim as the 7.6mm Redmi Note 13.
Under the hood, there is the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset, built on TSMC’s 6nm process. The Redmi Note 13 had the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. The battery is 5,110mAh, so there is hardly any upgrade in the battery size versus the 5,000mAh battery inside the Redmi Note 13. The charging speed is 45W, up from 33W in the Redmi Note 13.
The display is a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2100 nits peak brightness. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass 5, and there is an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Finally, speaking of cameras, there is a triple-camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS, and the ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor. The third camera uses a 2MP sensor. On the front, the selfie shooter has a 20MP sensor.
Surprisingly, the phone runs on Android 14 out of the box with HyperOS on top, not Android 15. The phone will get two OS updates.
Here is the pricing for the Indian market –
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹18,999
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹19,999
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹21,999
REDMI NOTE 14 PRO
Now, let’s talk about the Pro phones. The Redmi Note 14 Pro has a curved display and hence a rounded frame. The camera module is placed in the middle and has a triple camera setup. On the front, the phone uses a tougher Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The phone has an IP68 rating, which was not there for the Redmi Note 13 Pro. The back is plastic / PU leather.
The chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-ULTRA versus the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the Note 13 Pro. The phone has a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 45W wired charging support. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi Note 13 Pro had a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Speaking of the display, the phone has a 6.67-inch 1.5K curved OLED display with a 3000 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of cameras, the phone has the same setup as the Redmi Note 14. So, nothing different in terms of cameras.
The phone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS and will get three OS updates.
Here is the pricing for the Indian market –
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹24,999

REDMI NOTE 14 PRO+
Finally, we have the most expensive phone in this lineup. Compared to the Redmi Note 14 Pro, the Note 14 Pro+ has a slightly different-looking camera module on the rear, and that’s pretty much all that’s different in design. Alongside Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ also has Gorilla Glass 7i on the back, making it the most premium phone among all three. The phone is IP68-certified.
It has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset under the hood, which is built on TSMC’s 4nm process. There is a massive 6,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W HyperCharge support.
The camera setup on the rear is quite impressive, except for the 8MP ultrawide camera. The primary camera has a 1/1.55″ 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS and a large f/1.6 lens. The telephoto camera has a 50MP sensor with a 2.5x optical zoom. There is, however, no OIS for the telephoto camera. The front camera is the same 20MP camera as the rest of the models.
The display is the same as the Redmi Note 14 Pro.
