In September last year, the Redmi Note 13 Pro series was launched in the Chinese market. We got the Redmi Note 13 Pro with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ with an IP68 rating. The brand has now announced that the Redmi Note 14 Pro series is launching in China soon. The company has shared the images of the phones on Weibo, giving us our first look at the design.
Both phones feature a circular camera module on the rear, which is different from the Redmi Note 13 Pro series. By the looks of it, both phones feature an IP68 certification, something only the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had last year. There are three cameras on the rear of both devices.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will be a premium mid-range offering from the brand, and as per the sources, it has a primary camera with a 50MP sensor, OIS, and a large f/1.6 aperture lens. For comparison, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor for the primary camera with an f/1.65 lens. While the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ did not have a telephoto camera, that is not the case with the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. It has a telephoto camera with a 60mm f/2.2 lens, which means around 2x optical zoom.
The phone has a plastic frame.
The rest of the specifications of the two phones are not yet known, so we have to wait.
