Redmi Note 14 Pro+ launching with a 6,200mAh battery

Last week, the first look of the Redmi Note 14 Pro & Redmi Note 14 Pro+ was shared by the company on Weibo. The company has now announced that the phones are launching in China on September 26. In typical Redmi fashion, the company has started sharing the features of both phones on Weibo.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is the star of the show, and the company has revealed on Weibo that the phone features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This will make it the first smartphone to launch with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SOC. This chipset is built on the TSMC’s 4nm N4P process and features an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.5GHz.

Along with this SOC, the phone features a massive 6,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. The company says the phone has set a new record in terms of energy density, with the energy density of its battery being 814Wh/L. The phone supports 90W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front and there is IP68 as well as IP69 certification.

We already know that the phone has a 50MP sensor for the primary camera with an f/1.6 lens and OIS support. There is a 2.5x telephoto camera with a 60mm lens. The phone is launching with 12GB RAM in the base model, most likely the LPDDR5 or LPDDR5X RAM.
