Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition launching on December 27

Powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset

We know that on December 27, the Redmi K60 series is launching in the Chinese market. But today, Redmi announced it is launching a new phone under the Note 12 series on the same day. This phone is named Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition, and the main USP of this device is the chipset.

While the Redmi Note 12 Pro & Note 12 Pro+ launched in China with Dimensity 1080 chipsets, the Extreme Edition has the Snapdragon 778G chipset.

The phone features an OLED display and runs on MIUI 14 out of the box. As shown in the image above, the camera module design is slightly different, and the company’s branding is on the side of the camera module instead of on the bottom. The camera module says 108MP, yet another difference between the Extreme Edition and the standard Note 12 Pro.

If you forgot, the Redmi Note 12 Pro launched with a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, Dimensity 1080, a 5,000mAh battery, 67W fast charging, and a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS.
