Redmi Note 11S is launching on February 9 in India

It features a 108MP primary camera

As we know, the Redmi Note 11 series launched in China in October last year, and there were four phones under this lineup – Note 11 4G, Note 11 5G, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+. As of now, three out of those four phones have already been launched in India with different names. So, the Note 11 Pro & Note 11 Pro+ are named Xiaomi 11i & 11i HyperCharge, respectively, and the Note 11 5G is named Note 11T 5G.

Now, the company is preparing to launch Redmi Note 11S in the Indian market. You may think that it is the Note 11 4G since that is the only one that launched in China but not yet in India. But, that does not seem to be the case if we go by the official teaser of the Note 11S.

As the official teaser suggests, the main camera on the Note 11S is going to have a 108MP sensor. Moreover, the design of the camera module on the back is different than what the Redmi Note 11 4G has in China. So, this completely rules out the possibility of the Note 11S being just a rebadged Note 11 4G. The 108MP sensor is most likely Samsung’s HM2 sensor.

It is also reported that this phone has a MediaTek chip, but it is not yet known exactly which SOC is powering it.

Well, there are still a couple of weeks left for the official launch, so we will hopefully get to know more details. Stay tuned.
