A month ago, Redmi Note 11 series went official in the Chinese market, where we got three new phones, namely the Note 11, Note 11 Pro & Note 11 Pro+. Now, all of these are 5G phones, and just when we thought there won’t be any non-5G phones under the Note series from now (at least in China), the company now dropped a 4G version of Note 11 the Redmi Note 11 4G.

Looking at the design, you will instantly recognize that it looks similar to the Redmi 10, which launched back in August in the global market. And well, you are not wrong! This is indeed a renamed Redmi 10 for the Chinese market with a few changes here and there. So, apart from the same design, there is the same 6.5-inch Full-HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh-rate, MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, and a 5,000mAh cell with 18W fast charging support.

So, what’s changed? Well, unlike the Redmi 10, there are only three cameras on the back, not four. So, there is the same primary 50MP sensor, a secondary 8MP ultrawide, and a third 2MP macro camera. The phone misses out on the 2MP depth sensor, but that should not be that big of a deal.
In China, Redmi Note 11 4G comes in three colors, and there are two storage options. The sale starts on the 1st of December and here is the pricing –
- 4GB + 128GB – ¥999 ($156)
- 6GB + 128GB – ¥1099 ($172)
