The Redmi K60 Ultra was launched in August last year with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, a 1.5K 144Hz OLED display, and a Sony IMX800 camera sensor. The brand is all set to launch its successor, the Redmi K70 Ultra. The launch is taking place this month in the Chinese market, and the phone has now been benchmarked on AnTuTu and Geekbench. These benchmark scores were shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SOC, the most powerful chip that MediaTek has in its arsenal. Compared to the Dimensity 9300, the Plus version brings an upgraded CPU that has a clock speed of up to 3.4GHz, versus 3.25GHz. The APU inside the Dimensity 9300+ is said to be 10% better than the one in 9300.
On the AnTuTu benchmark, the phone scores over 2.2 million points. This score is higher than some Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered devices.
Speaking of Geekbench, the single-core score is around 2300, and the multi-core score around 7500.
The Redmi K70 Ultra is also the first phone from the brand to feature the “D1” independent display chip that is built on the 12nm process. The cooling system has also been improved, which is said to reduce the core temperature by up to 3%, compared to the previous generation cooling system. In the company’s internal testing, the AnTuTu score of the phone came out at 2.38 Million, which is impressive!
As for the rest of the specifications, the Redmi K70 Ultra features the TCL Huaxing C8+ OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For comparison, the Xiaomi 14 features the TCL Huaxing C8 OLED display. The phone is IP68 certified.
Like last year, the Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to launch globally as the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
