The Redmi K30 5G launched last year in the Chinese market as the first smartphone with Snapdragon 765G SOC. The 4G variant comes with Snapdragon 730G & was launched in India as Poco X2 recently. Well, we are yet to hear anything about the Redmi K30 Pro from the company, but we can confirm that the phone is indeed coming soon & will be a flagship, just like the K20 Pro of last year.
Today, a reliable source on Weibo shared the details related to the battery size & charging speed of the K30 Pro.
As per the source, the Redmi K30 Pro has a battery with a size of around 4,700mAh, which is larger than the 4,000mAh battery of last year’s Redmi K20 Pro & slightly larger than the 4,500mAh battery of the K30. Moreover, there is 33W Fast Charging support, which is also an upgrade over the 27W fast charging of the Redmi K20 Pro.
The same source has already revealed that the K30 Pro has a Quad camera setup on the back & a primary 64 Megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor. While the camera setup is going to have a similar design & layout, the sensors & lenses will be slightly different since it is a flagship.
In fact, he also said that instead of a punch-hole design like the Redmi K30, the K30 Pro features a pop-up camera like the K20 Pro of last year.
Well, since the Redmi K30 Pro is a flagship, it won’t be a surprise if it launches with Snapdragon 865 SOC.
