A few days are now left of the much-awaited launch of Redmi K20 in China & we know a lot about the phone already. The company itself revealed the design of the device from the rear & some major specifications like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, 4,000mAh battery, 48MP rear camera & in-display fingerprint scanner. Now, the starting price of the phone leaked for the Chinese market.
As the image above suggests, the starting price of the Redmi K20 is going to be 2,599 Yuan in China, which translates to around $376 (Rs 26,000). Unsurprisingly, the phone is priced even cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi 9 which is Xiaomi’s current flagship. This is not something surprising since Xiaomi is known for launching super affordable phones & last year, we saw the same with Poco F1 which launched as the cheapest Snapdragon 845 powered device.
If the Redmi K20 launches at a similar starting price in other markets outside China, then it would definitely be a flagship killer. What do you think of the starting price of 2,599 Yuan? Do let us know via the comments section.
