Redmi 9T to be the Note 9 4G (China) for the global market

With slight changes in the cameras

Yesterday, Redmi launched the Note 9 Series in the Chinese market that includes the Note 9 4G, Note 9 5G & the Note 9 Pro 5G smartphones. While there is no word from the brand on the launch outside China, we have got some info regarding the same via FCC. According to Sudhanshu (@Sudhanshu1414) on Twitter, FCC revealed that the Note 9 4G for the Chinese market is launching globally with a different name. It will launch as the Redmi 9T, not to be mistaken with the last year’s Mi 9T. It is no surprise that the company is going to launch the phone with a different name outside China because there is already Redmi Note 9 available in the global market.

The above image shows the comparison made by FCC between the Poco M3 (above) & the Redmi 9T (below). So, it looks like there is a slight change in the cameras since the Redmi 9T has four rear cameras compared to three on the Redmi Note 9 4G (China). The fourth camera is just a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. Except for the camera count, the rest of the specs are going to remain the same, so the 9T has a Snapdragon 662 chipset, a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD, a 6,000mAh battery &18W Fast Charging.

We don’t think there will be a huge change in the overall design from the rear, but still, there are no leaks yet that give us a look at the design of Redmi 9T so we cannot say anything with utmost surety yet.
