A few days ago, Red Magic 7 & 7 Pro went official in China as the latest gaming phones from the brand. Today, the Red Magic 7 launched in the global market for a starting price of $629 / €629 / £529. At this price, the phone offers Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC, a 165Hz display, and gaming-centric features. Compared to the version available in China, there is only one difference, and that’s the charging speed. Instead of 120W charging, the phone comes with 65W charging in the global market. The same thing happened last year with the Red Magic 6 Pro.
The phone comes with a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 720Hz touch-sampling rate. This panel offers a max brightness of 700 nits and has Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, there is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip paired with 12/16/18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The cooling system consists of a 20,000rpm cooling fan, three vents with two of them for air intake, a Vapor Chamber, thermal gel, Aviation Grade Aluminum Heat Sink, etc.
The triple camera setup includes a primary 64MP Samsung GW3 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. There is an 8MP selfie shooter. The battery size is 4,500mAh, and the phone supports 65W fast charging. Red Magic 7 has a 3.5mm headphone jack on top and a type-c port on the bottom. Since it is a gaming phone, there are RGB lights on the back and shoulder triggers.
Finally, here is the pricing –

- 16GB + 256GB (Pulsar) – $729 / €729 / £619
- 18GB + 256GB (Supernova) – $799 / €799 / £679
Starting March 10, you will be able to buy the phone if it is available in your country.
