Realme X50 5G to launch before Spring Festival (January 25)

A couple of weeks earlier, Realme teased the launch of its first 5G smartphone, the X50 5G. Well, we still don’t have any information from the company about the launch date of the Realme X50 5G. Recently, Realme revealed that the phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SOC that is the same SOC that powers the Redmi K30 5G, which is the cheapest 5G phone currently in China.

Now, the Product Director of Realme, Wang Derek, has revealed in response to a comment from a fan that the X50 5G would launch before the Spring Festival in China.

The Spring Festival will take place on January 25th, so this means the phone is launching before January 25th. We expect the company to announce the phone before the end of 2020 since a lot of brands have started unveiling their mid-range 5G phones. Some of the examples are Redmi, Huawei, Honor, Oppo, etc.

Realme X50 5G is expected to have specifications similar to the Redmi K30 5G, so we can expect 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor on the rear, a high-refresh-rate display, 30W VOOC Flash Charge, etc.
