Realme X50 5G teased with dual-mode 5G & a hole-punch display

All of a sudden we have started getting mid-range phones with 5G support from brands like Honor, Redmi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme etc. Redmi & Realme are yet to launch a 5G phone in the mid-range segment, but both the brands have already teased their respective upcoming 5G mid-rangers. Redmi K30 5G is going to be unveiled on December 10 & now, Realme X50 5G has been teased by the company to launch soon as the company’s first smartphone with dual-mode 5G.

Realme & Redmi are the arch-rivals currently in the market & when one brand launches something, the other tries to beat it by launching something better. We saw the same recently when Realme launched the X2 Pro to beat Redmi K20 Pro. In India next month, the Realme XT 730G is launching as a competitor to the Redmi K20. Now, the Realme X50 5G isn’t any different from the upcoming Redmi K30 5G.

As the teaser shows, it has a similar hole-punch display with dual selfie cameras with the only difference being the position of the cutout, which is on the top left in case of X50 5G.

The phone supports Non-standalone (NSA) and standalone (SA) Dual-Mode 5G & that’s all we know so far about it. Realme phones are generally the rebranded Oppo devices (For Example, the Realme X2 Pro is a rebranded Oppo Reno Ace) & same is expected to be the case this time. The Realme X50 5G could be the rebranded Oppo Reno3 Pro 5G which was teased recently by the Oppo VP.

Well, not much is known right now about the X50 5G so we will have to wait for some more leaks.
