Realme X2 launched in China in September & today Realme launched the device in the Indian market. It is the upgraded version of Realme XT & comes with a few major upgrades like a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SOC, faster 30W VOOC Flash Charge & an upgraded 32MP selfie camera. The price starts at Rs 16,999 & this makes in the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 730G SOC in India.
Design-wise, there is no difference between the X2 & XT. Both have the same display on the front with a Waterdrop notch on top, a vertical Quad camera setup on the rear, a USB Type-C port on the bottom alongside 3.5mm headphone jack & a triple card slot. The only difference is that Realme X2 comes in a new “Pearl Green” color option.
Specification-wise, there is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Full-HD+ panel with 91.9% screen-to-body ratio & Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Since it is an AMOLED panel, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, there is an octa-core 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SOC with 4/6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM & 64/128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Coming to the cameras, there is a Quad camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 64MP camera with Samsung GW1 sensor & f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 119-degree FOV, a 2MP Macro Lens & a 2MP Depth Sensor.
On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies. The rear camera can shoot 4K 30fps videos & slow-motion 960fps videos.
While the Realme XT launched with 20W VOOC Charging, the Realme X2 features 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge that can charge the 4,000mAh battery from 0 to 100% in just 75 minutes. Also, the retail box includes a 30W Adapter, so you don’t have to buy it separately.
