Recently, TENAA listing revealed an upcoming Realme device with a full-screen display (no notch) & a different design from the rear compared to the other phones launched this year. It was rumored that it is the upcoming Realme flagship that would feature the Snapdragon 855 processor & a pop-up front camera. Now, the company confirmed officially that there is indeed a phone launching soon with a pop-up camera, at least in China.
Realme posted a video on its official Weibo account that reveals a phone having a pop-up selfie camera placed in the middle on top. Since there is a pop-up camera, there is no need for a notch or cutout in the display, and therefore, this phone has a bezel-less & notch-less design on the front.
The phone does have a noticeable bottom chin, but that won’t be an issue if this Realme Flagship launches with super aggressive pricing like last year’s Poco F1. This phone, along with the Realme 3 Pro, is launching in China next month & is rumored to launch as Realme Pro.
Since Redmi is also launching its flagship with Snapdragon 855 & pop-up selfie camera soon, it will be interesting to see this competition between Redmi & Realme’s flagships.
