In April this year, Realme launched its Q3 series in the Chinese market, which included three phones named the Realme Q3, Q3i, and the Q3 Pro. Today, a new phone was launched under that series in the Chinese market named the Realme Q3s. This is a mid-range phone featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G SOC, which means in terms of performance, it is better than the Realme Q3 (Snapdragon 750G) but sits just behind the Q3 Pro (Dimensity 1100).

Realme Q3s

Design-wise, the Realme Q3s comes with a big camera module, even bigger than what we had on the Q3 Pro. But, that does not mean there are extra cameras or upgraded camera sensors. This is bigger in size just for the sake of looks. There is a main 48MP sensor, and the other two are 2MP sensors. So, in terms of the cameras, it is similar to the Q3i instead of the Q3 or Q3 Pro. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports 30W fast charging as well.

As for the display, it is a 6.6-inch LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate, an upgrade over the 120Hz LCD of Realme Q3. There is a Snapdragon 778G chip inside, and the phone comes with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.

In China, Realme Q3s comes in two colors, and there are three storage options to choose from. Here is the pricing for China –

  • 6GB + 128GB – ¥1599 ($250)
  • 8GB + 128GB – ¥1799 ($280)
  • 8GB + 256GB – ¥1999 ($312)

The sale starts in China on the 1st of November.
