Realme Pad Mini listed online ahead of April 4 launch

UNISOC T616, a 6,400mAh battery & more

Last year, Realme launched its first Android tablet named the Realme Pad and it launched for ₹13,999 in India. At that price, the tablet offered Helio G80 SOC, a 7,100mAh battery, metal build, Quad speakers, and more. Now, the company is preparing for the launch of the Realme Pad Mini. As the name suggests, this is going to be a toned-down version of the Realme Pad. We have already seen the CAD-based renders of this tablet and also know the major specs.

If you do not know, Realme has officially announced that it is launching this tablet on the 4th of April and it will launch first in the Philippines. Now, we have got the full spec sheet and official images of the tablet via Lazada, an e-commerce platform.

Design-wise, Realme Pad Mini has a different-looking camera module design, but apart from that, the rest of the design is similar. The Mini is thicker at 7.6mm (vs. 6.9mm) and is smaller in size due to a smaller display (8.7-inch vs. 10.4-inch). The company says it is the slimmest tablet in its price range. There are stereo speakers (compared to Quad speakers) and a metal build with a matte finish.

Speaking of the specs, Realme Pad Mini has an 8.7-inch LCD with a 1340×800 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it packs the UNISOC T616 SOC, which is built on the 12nm process and has an octa-core CPU along with Mali G57 GPU.

There is an 8MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. So, this time, the selfie camera is downgraded to 5MP (vs. 8MP), but the rear camera remains unchanged.

The battery size is also smaller than the Realme Pad at 6,400mAh (vs. 7,200mAh), but the charging speed is the same at 18W. Realme UI runs out of the box, and it is based on Android 11. There is either 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB UFS 2.2 storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card of up to 1TB.
