As expected, the Realme Pad 2 launched in the Indian market today, and it is a mid-range tablet starting at ₹19,999. This is the fourth Android tablet from the brand, after the Realme Pad, Realme Pad Mini & the Realme Pad X.
Realme Pad 2 comes in two colors – Inspiration Green & Imagination Grey. There is a two-tone design on the rear, which the company calls the “Glowing Splice” design. The circular camera module has a single camera (even though it looks like a dual camera setup) without an LED flash.
The tablet features Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme Pad 2 has an 11.5-inch display on the front, the largest on a Realme tablet. This 10-bit LCD panel has a 2000 x 1200 pixels resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Hence, this is also the first Realme tablet with a high-refresh-rate panel. The display has 450 nits brightness and is powered by the O1 Ultra Vision Engine for better colors and image quality.
Under the hood, the tablet has the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.
The battery size is 8,360mAh, and the tablet supports 33W SuperVOOC charging. There is an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
Finally, Realme UI 4.0 for Pad runs out of the box.
Here is the pricing for the Indian market –
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹19,999
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹22,999
The tablet will go on sale on August 1.
