Realme P3x and Realme P3 Pro launched in the Indian market

Realme launched two new phones in the Indian market today – Realme P3x & Realme P3 Pro. Both of these are 5G smartphones where the P3x is a budget phone, whereas the P3 Pro is a mid-range smartphone.

As the name suggests, P3 Pro is the successor to the Realme P2 Pro, which was launched in India in September with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SOC, and a curved display.

Starting with the budget phone, the Realme P3x comes with an IP68 & IP69 rating and has an ArmorShell glass protection on the front. The phone has a polycarbonate build, and there is a vegan leather finish on the rear. The device is quite slim at 7.94mm and weighs 197g. There is a single speaker and the fingerprint scanner is on the right side. The phone lacks a headphone jack.

The phone has a 6.72-inch 120Hz Full-HD+ display but it is not an OLED panel. This is an LCD with 950 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the phone has the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset which is built on the TSMC’s 6nm process and has an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.5GHz. The phone has 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The battery is 6,000mAh, and there is support for 45W fast charging.

Speaking of cameras, the Realme P3x has a dual camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP OmniVision OV50D sensor and the secondary camera has a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera has an 8MP sensor. The rear camera can shoot up to 1080p videos at 60fps.

The phone runs on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0.

The Realme P3 Pro is a mid-range smartphone, and it looks like one. It has a premium-looking design which includes a quad-curved display on the front with slim bezels and a circular camera module on the rear with a dual camera setup and a ring LED flash. The phone has a stereo speaker setup and there is an under-display fingerprint scanner. The phone comes with IP68, and IP69 rating.

Under the hood, the Realme P3 Pro has the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with UFS 3.1 storage. The battery is 6,000mAh, and the phone supports 80W wired charging. The display is a 6.83-inch 120Hz 1.5K OLED with a 10-bit color depth. Speaking of the cameras, the phone has two cameras on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.56” 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor with OIS and the secondary camera has a 2MP sensor. There is a 16MP selfie camera.

The phone can shoot 4K videos from the rear camera but it is limited to 30fps.

The phone runs on Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 out of the box.
