In April, the Realme P1 Pro was launched in India with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and a 120Hz curved AMOLED display. Today, the brand launched its successor in the Indian market. The Realme P2 Pro brings an updated design and specifications for the same starting price as the Realme P1 Pro, that is, ₹21,999.
Realme calls the design the “BioVision Design.” The brand says it used an advanced process that shows different patterns under different lighting conditions. The two colors are named Eagle Grey and Parrot Green. The back and the frame are made of polycarbonate. The camera module design is unique with that gold-colored ring around it. The phone has a stereo speaker setup with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
On the front, the Realme P2 Pro features a curved display with a hole punch cutout for the selfie shooter. This is a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 2000 nits peak brightness, and a 10-bit color depth. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and has 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB or 256GB, or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The battery is 5,200mAh, and the phone supports 80W fast charging.
As for the cameras, the Realme P2 Pro has a dual camera setup on the rear. The primary camera uses a 1/1.95” 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS, and the ultrawide camera uses an 8MP sensor. There is a 32MP sensor for selfies. Both the front and rear cameras can shoot 4K 30fps videos.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out of the box.
