Realme Neo 7 confirmed to feature a 7,000mAh battery

The company revealed it on Weibo!

The Realme Neo 7 is launching in the Chinese market on December 11, and this is a flagship killer type of smartphone from the brand. It is the successor to the Realme GT Neo 6, which was launched with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SOC and a 5,500mAh battery. The GT Neo 6 was later launched outside China as the Realme GT 6. While there is still more than a week left for the launch of the Realme Neo 7, the company has started revealing some features on Weibo. Today, the brand revealed the battery size.

The phone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery, making it the Realme smartphone with the largest battery ever. For a flagship phone, it is not normal to have such a large battery, but with the new battery tech that many smartphone brands are using nowadays, we should’ve seen this coming.

Even with such a massive battery, the phone is just 8.5mm thick, 0.1mm slimmer than its predecessor. The battery has been co-developed by CATL and Realme and has an energy density of around 800Wh/L.

As we already know, the Realme Neo 7 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset that is comparable, or even better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in performance. The phone should launch outside China as the Realme GT 7.
