Realme is launching the X7 Max smartphone on the 31st of this month in India, and it is a 5G phone featuring the Dimensity 1200 SOC. But now, we got to know via the company’s official website that next month, Realme GT is making its way to India, and this is going to be an exciting launch due to the fact that it is a high-end flagship with Snapdragon 888 that is already available in China.
Realme revealed this information via the dedicated page on the website regarding the “Realme 5G Summit“. This page also reveals that on the 10th of June, there is an event in India, so maybe at that event, the phone is going to launch.
Anyways, speaking of the phone itself, Realme GT has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SOC that is paired with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. There is a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The battery inside is a 4,500mAh unit that can be fast-charged, thanks to the 65W fast charging support.
The triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 64 Megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor, an 8 Megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2 Megapixel macro camera. The rear camera is capable of 4K 60fps video recording, whereas the 16 Megapixel selfie camera can shoot only up to FHD 30fps videos. Interestingly, Realme GT also has a headphone jack on the bottom, something we don’t expect to see on flagships these days. Finally, Realme UI 2.0 runs out of the box, which is based on Android 11.
Well, there is no information on the pricing yet, but in India, the phone starts at 2899 Yuan or around Rs 33,000. So, in the Indian market, it might launch at a starting price of around Rs 35-36K. Its main competitors are going to be the iQOO 7 Legend and the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro.
