Almost two months after the launch of Realme GT Neo, the Realme GT Neo Flash Edition is now official in the Chinese market, and as the name suggests, the main USP of this phone is its fast charging. While the GT Neo featured 50W fast charging, GT Neo Flash Edition has 65W fast charging support. And well, that’s all there is to differentiate these two phones. There is no change in the rest of the specifications. Realme GT Neo launched at a starting price of 1,799 Yuan (6GB variant), whereas the GT Neo Flash Edition starts at 2,299 Yuan (8GB variant). The early bird offer brings the starting price down to 1,999 Yuan.
The design of GT Neo Flash Edition remains the same as the GT Neo. In fact, apart from one new color option, there is no difference in the color options as well. It’s like Realme took the GT Neo, added 65W fast charging, and relaunched it as the “Flash Edition.”
There is a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch-sampling rate, and Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone has Dimensity 1200 5G SOC by MediaTek, which is paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. So, while the base variant of Realme GT Neo has 6GB RAM, in the case of GT Neo Flash Edition, it is 8GB. There is a 4,500mAh battery and support for 65W fast wired charging.
On the rear, Realme GT Flash Edition has triple cameras. There is a primary 64 Megapixel shooter with the Sony IMX682 sensor from Sony, a secondary 8 Megapixel camera for ultrawide photos, and a 2 Megapixel macro sensor. The front camera is the same old 16 Megapixel sensor that we have seen on a ton of Realme phones by now.
