The OnePlus Ace 3V was recently launched in China, making it the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. Realme is another brand that is soon launching a phone with this SOC. The phone is named Realme GT Neo 6 SE, and as the name suggests, it is the successor to the Realme GT Neo 5 SE, which was launched last year with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SOC. The GT Neo 6 SE is launching next month, and today we got the official render of the phone, revealing the rear design.
As the image above shows, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE has a dual camera setup, and there are three large circles on the back, two of which have the camera sensors. The third circle has a dual-LED flash. This camera layout is quite similar to the iPhone’s camera layout. There is no camera island this time, and the back has a two-tone design. The render also reveals that the primary camera has a 50MP sensor. While the render does not reveal the front design, Realme has shared the specifications of the display, and they’re quite impressive.
Realme GT Neo 6 SE has a display with the highest peak brightness of 6,000 nits. This is a BOE S1 OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and the 8T LTPO technology, enabling the refresh rate to go as low as 0.5Hz and as high as 120Hz. In high brightness mode (HBM), the brightness goes as high as 1,600 nits, whereas the manual brightness goes up to 1,000 nits. The panel has 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
As per the leaks, the phone has a big 5,500mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging. The primary 50MP sensor is from Sony and features OIS.
Well, the specifications are quite impressive for a mid-range smartphone. The pricing is not yet known, but we expect the Realme GT Neo 6 SE to be priced similarly to the OnePlus Ace 3V in China. That is, around ¥2000 or $280.
