The much-hyped Realme GT Neo 3 is now official in China, and it is the newest flagship phone from the brand, with its main USP being 150W fast charging. It is worth mentioning that there are two versions of the phone. One has support for 80W charging, whereas the other supports 150W charging. The starting price is ¥1999, which translates to around $315, and for that price, this phone offers the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G SOC, 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, a 120Hz AMOLED, and more.

Design-wise, it looks unique due to that double-stripe design on the back panel. Now, only the White & Le Mans variant has this design. There is also a black color option that has a simple look with no design or pattern on the rear. On the front, the phone has a flat panel with a hole punch in the center and thin bezels (2.37mm chin). The screen-to-body ratio of the phone is 94.2%. The fingerprint scanner is present under the display, and there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Speaking of the specs, let’s start with the main USP – charging speed. Realme GT Neo 3 supports up to 150W fast charging, and its 4,500mAh battery can be charged up to 50% in just 5 minutes. Realme says there are 38 protection measures, so they take care of everything, from the charger to the cable to the phone itself. For example, while charging with a 150W adapter, the device’s temperature will not go above 43-degrees. One of the trade-offs that come with fast charging is reducing battery capacity over time. Realme says after over a thousand charging cycles, the phone’s battery will retain up to 80% capacity.

Under the hood, the phone has MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SOC that also powers the recently launched Redmi K50. It is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. For better thermals, there is a 4129mm² VC cooling system.

The triple camera setup on the back includes a primary 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, an 8MP sensor for ultrawide shots, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 16MP camera. The 50MP primary camera supports 4K 60fps video recording. In terms of the display, there is a 6.7-inch 10-bit AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Finally, RealmeUI 3.0 runs out of the box that is based on Android 12.
