A month after its launch in the Chinese market, Realme GT Master Edition is now official in the Indian market. Realme didn’t bring the Master Explorer Edition to India, so all we get is the mid-range Master Edition featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SOC. This is the same SOC that powers the recently launched Motorola Edge 20, the first phone to launch with 778G in India. Moreover, it is a “Master Edition” phone which means one of the key highlights of this phone is its design.

The Realme GT Master Edition comes in three color options, but the Voyager grey color variant is definitely the one that’s most interesting. It is because this one has a Concave-leather design inspired by a travel suitcase design. The back panel has Vegan Leather which not only makes the phone look unique but also makes it feel premium. The phone is quite slim at 8mm and is just 174 grams in terms of weight.  There is a triple camera setup on the back and a flat-screen with a single hole punch on the front.

Speaking of the display, Realme GT Master Edition has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits of peak brightness, and 360Hz touch-sampling rate. The fingerprint scanner sits under the display. Under the hood, there is the Snapdragon 778G 5G SOC, which has the 6th gen AI Engine and compared to Snapdragon 768G, this SOC offers up to 40% CPU& GPU performance boost and an incredible 123% AI performance boost. Realme says that on the AnTuTu benchmark, the phone scores around 541,610. Now, that’s a really impressive score!

For better cooling, there is a Vapour Chamber cooling system that can reduce the core temperature by up to 15-degrees. You also get the Dynamic RAM Expansion feature which is just a fancy name for virtual memory. With this, you can extend the RAM by an extra 5GB taken from your onboard storage.

In terms of the cameras, there is a triple camera setup on the back that includes a primary 64 Megapixel sensor paired with an 8 Megapixel ultrawide and a 2 Megapixel macro camera. There is 32 Megapixel selfie shooter. Finally, the phone has a 4,300mAh battery and supports the 65W SuperDart Charge.

In India, Realme GT Master Edition comes in three colors named Cosmos Black, Luna White, and Voyager Grey. There are three storage options, and the pricing is as follows –

  • 6GB + 128GB – ₹25,999
  • 8GB + 128GB – ₹27,999
  • 8GB + 256GB – ₹29,999

The first sale is happening on the 26th of August, and you can buy the phone via Flipkart or Realme India’s website.
