Alongside the Master Edition, the company also launched Realme GT in India today, and this one is a full-fledged flagship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SOC. Realme is calling it the “Flagship Killer” of 2021 as the price starts at ₹37,999. The phone initially launched in China in March, and after more than five months, it now launched in the Indian market. This is the reason why there isn’t the latest Snapdragon 888 Plus SOC in this phone.
The rear panel of the Realme GT has a pattern that shows up when the light falls on it, and the company calls this pattern the “Accelerated Track Pattern.” There is also a “Racing Yellow” color option that comes with Dual-tone vegan leather on the back, making it looks really premium. Despite being a high-end flagship, this phone does not miss out on the headphone jack, so that’s a good thing. There is a triple camera setup on the back, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a single-hole punch cutout on the front.
Realme GT has a 6.43-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED panel with a 360Hz touch-sampling rate and 4,096 levels of brightness adjustment. There is Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SOC under the hood paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. There is a 4,500mAh battery, and you can charge the phone quickly via the provided 65W adapter.
The triple camera setup on the back includes a primary 64 Megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor, a secondary 8 Megapixel ultrawide, and a third 2 Megapixel macro camera. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
In India, the Realme GT comes in Dashing Blue, Dashing Silver, and Racing Yellow color options. Here is the pricing –
8GB + 128GB – ₹37,999
12GB + 256GB – ₹41,999
The first sale takes place on the 25th of August on Realme.com and Flipkart.
