After the OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15 series, iQOO 13, and the Honor Magic 7 series, the Realme GT 7 Pro has launched in China with the all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. There was no Realme GT 6 Pro this year, so it is safe to assume that the GT 7 Pro is a successor to the Realme GT 6, launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The GT 7 Pro brings some significant upgrades over its predecessor, and the price is lower than all the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphones launched in China so far.
Starting with the design, the Realme GT 7 Pro features a premium design. There is a flat metal frame and a matte glass back. The camera module is placed in the top left corner and has a triple camera setup with an LED flash. The phone is IP68 & IP69-certified, has an IR blaster in the camera module, an X-axis linear motor, and stereo speakers.
On the front, the Realme GT 7 Pro features a micro quad-curved display, jointly developed by Realme & Samsung. This is a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED panel with a 6000 nits peak brightness, and 2000 nits global brightness, the highest in the industry. Realme says the power consumption of this new panel is reduced by up to 52%. This is also the industry’s first smartphone display with a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut. Finally, the phone has an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the Realme GT 7 Pro has the Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The battery is 6,500mAh, one of the largest in a flagship smartphone. There is 120W wired charging support, but the phone does not have wireless charging.
Speaking of cameras, the phone has a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 lens. The ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor, and there is a third periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.95″ 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS. This periscope camera has a similar multi-prism design as the new iPhone 16 series. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP sensor.
The phone supports 8K video recording up to 24fps from the rear camera. The selfie camera is limited to 1080p 60fps video recording.
Finally, the phone runs on RealmeUI 6.0 based on Android 15.
