Realme has started teasing its upcoming flagship phone, or rather the first ‘premium flagship’ from Realme. It is named Realme GT 2 Pro & this name was officially confirmed by the company as well. Recently, we saw a screenshot showing the benchmark score of a Realme phone with the model number RMX3300 and it was suspected that this phone is the GT 2 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Well, today, we got to see the design of GT 2 Pro, at least from the rear. The render showing the two color options was shared by OnLeaks in collaboration with 91Mobiles.
So design-wise, the Realme GT 2 Pro definitely looks like the Google Nexus 6P from the back with that raised horizontal camera module placed on the top. This camera module gets a triple camera setup in it, and the text on it reads ‘Dual 50MP’. This basically means there are two 50MP sensors on the back. The phone gets flat sides like most of the premium phones launching these days and what looks like a matte glass back. We did not get to see the front of the phone, but most probably, there is a flat screen with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
OnLeaks also shared a couple of specifications with 91Mobiles. These include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a 6.8-inch WQHD+ 120Hz flat OLED, 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto camera on the rear.
Finally, he also shared that the base variant of the phone will be priced around 799 USD, which translates to around 60,000 rupees! So, this is going to be the most expensive Realme phone yet. It is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2022.
